Briancon
The highest town in Europe, just 13 km from the French - Italian border, Briancon enjoys a beautiful setting with hilltop fortifications and links directly by gondola into this large ski area. There is a floodlit piste for night skiing, it has its own nursery slopes at the gondola middle station, as well as some attractive restaurants and bars on cobbled streets.
