Arc 1800
The main resort and very popular due to its ski-in, ski-out convenience, friendly arcades housing shops, some lively bars and restaurants, and incredibly easy access to either altitude skiing in the Arc 2000 bowl or long, tree lined red and blue runs down to the unspoilt hamlet of Peisey Nancroix, or, in the other direction, to Arc 1600m.
Hotel du Golf is our firm favourite, set right on the slopes in front of the children's ski garden and lifts, serving superb food and boasting live jazz. There is also a great choice of self-catering apartments. A popular resort, too, for snowboarders with a dedicated Funpark between 1800 and 1600.
